“In 2012, the inhabitants of Casablanca knew nothing about the tram. Today, 140,000 people borrow it daily. ” This is how Youssef Draiss, Managing Director of Casa Transport, the transport organizing authority of Casablanca, sums up the success of the tram in the economic capital of Morocco.

Since the opening of the line on December 12, 2012, the need for mobility of the inhabitants of Casablanca has grown steadily, and they have found in this mode of transport a beneficial alternative to saturated road traffic-The punctuality of the tram has was congratulated by travelers who testified to their satisfaction up to 95% in a survey-This result represents the fruit of the work carried out by Casa Tramway-A tailor-made maintenance procedure, rigorous traceability, frequent regulatory checks and Optimal professional training of staff made it possible to provide 100% punctuality in 2015.

To meet the security needs of travelers, RATP Dev Casablanca has raised awareness among residents by involving the police and local associations – As for fraud, it has been brought under control thanks to the creation of stations with validation on entry and exit, but also thanks to the involvement of all the agents in the field.

Today, the tramway has priority on the entire line, which crosses 60 intersections.

At the end of 2017, RATP Dev has renewed the confidence of Casa Transports, the organizing authority of Casablanca, for the operation, maintenance, and development of the Casablanca agglomeration tram network for a period of 12 years. This new contract includes the commissioning, operation, and maintenance of 4 new tram lines and 2 BRT lines – RATP Dev Casablanca – the new name of the local entity – will thus become the operator of the urban transport project on more ambitious of the African continent.

This new contract is accompanied by several initiatives intended to offer an even more optimized service:

-The installation in Casablanca of the RATP Dev Data Innovation Center: this Big Data solution design and experimentation hub place the metropolis of Casablanca at the heart of RATP Dev’s innovation approach.

-The implementation, in partnership with local authorities and competent Moroccan organizations, of a recruitment and training program led by RATP Dev to identify and support the development of skills of qualified people.

Responsable Maintenance Matériel Roulant

Profil recherché:

-Superior technical training.
-A minimum of 5 years of experience in a team management position in an industrial environment.
-Significant experience in maintenance.
-Experience in railway maintenance and highly desirable.

Skills and knowledge:

– Pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical engineering, electronics, electricity, and mechanics.
– Mastery of Computer-Aided Maintenance Management Software (CMMS).

– Proficient in reading diagrams and technical documentation.
-Knowledge of office tools.
-Knowledge of design tools, industrial tests, planning.

General Mission:

Reporting to the Technical Director, you are in charge of organizing and coordinating preventive and corrective maintenance interventions for rolling stock in order to guarantee its availability and contribute to the realization of the transport offer in compliance with security and contractual obligations.

You participate in business projects in which you lead topics related to rolling stock.
