The National Ports Agency (ANP) is the authority and regulatory body for the new Moroccan port system set up by Law 15-02.

In a context of growing globalization, marked by the intensification of trade in an increasingly competitive environment, the ports sector, in Morocco and in the world, has become an important lever for the development and competitiveness of a country. . At the same time, it must respond to new social, societal and environmental challenges.

In recent years, the sector has undergone significant institutional and organizational reforms, with the aim of adapting the status and organization of the port authority to the global needs of globalization and to the new constraints arising. social responsibility and equitable and sustainable development.

A strong player in the Moroccan port landscape, the Agency brings together the entire port community around common objectives; it works to create a competitive port environment, promoting fair and sustainable development, characterized by healthy competition, efficiency, transparency, and good governance, and ensuring safe and quality services.

Legal status

The National Ports Agency is a “Public Establishment with legal personality and financial autonomy”. The Agency’s technical supervision is provided by the Ministry of Equipment and Transport.
The Agency is subject to the financial control of the State applicable to public establishments in accordance with the legislation in force.

Scope and scope of the Agency

The Agency exercises its powers over all the Kingdom’s ports with the exception of the port of Tangier Mediterranean (33 ports).

The Agency has set itself eight strategic priorities

  • Continuation of the construction of major port projects;
  • Preservation of port heritage;
  • Contribution to the implementation of the national logistics competitiveness strategy;
  • Simplification and facilitation of port transit procedures;
  • The continued implementation of the port reform covered by Law 15-02;
  • Regulation of port activities and operators;
  • Improving the competitiveness of the port sector;
  • Police, security, and environmental protection in the port environment.

-Certified copies of the original documents will be required from successful candidates for the oral test.

-The candidates must be of Moroccan nationality.
