National Human Rights Council Competition (3 Positions)

As part of strengthening its human capital, the National Human Rights Council is organizing a competition for the recruitment of the following profiles:

(1) Cadre Chargé(e) de l’Organisation.
(1) Technicien Comptable.
(1) Cadre Chargé(e) des Achats.

The National Human Rights Council (CNDH) is a pluralist and independent national institution, responsible for dealing with all questions relating to the defense and protection of human rights and freedoms, to the guarantee of their full exercise and promotion as well as the preservation of the dignity, rights and individual and collective freedoms of citizens, in strict compliance with national and universal standards in this area.

The Council contributes to strengthening the human rights system and works for its protection, promotion, and development while respecting the universality and indivisibility of such rights.

It also helps to encourage the application of the principles and rules of international humanitarian law in coordination with the National Commission for International Humanitarian Law.

In accordance with the provisions of article 161 of the Constitution, and in application of Morocco’s international obligations under human rights conventions, in particular, the human rights appeal mechanisms and considering the assessment of the Consultative Council for Human Rights (CCDH) and the CNDH for more than a quarter of a century, and in order to strengthen the role, prerogatives, and means of action of the Council, it was carried out in March 2018 to the adoption of Law 76-15 relating to the reorganization of the National Human Rights Council. A law that takes into consideration the constitutional status of the CNDH as an institution responsible for the protection and promotion of human rights, as well as the Paris Principles governing national human rights institutions (NHRIs) and the Belgrade Principles Governing Relations Between Parliaments and NHRIs.
