Created in 1949, CMCP (Compagnie Marocaine des Cartons et des Papiers) is the first company in Morocco specializing in the manufacture of cardboard and paper for packaging. Its activity consists of the production of paper and cardboard as well as the transformation of boxes for fruits and vegetables and boxes for industrial products. The CMCP group was born from the merger of three companies: Ogden Maghreb (Casablanca), CMCP (Kenitra), and Chems Agadir. With extensive experience, the group offers its customers a complete range of packaging in boxboard, light cardboard, and corrugated cardboard.

The Group has subsidiaries located in economically strategic regions and thus plays an important role in the paper and cardboard industry and in the manufacture of corrugated cardboard packaging. Leader on the Moroccan market, the CMCP Group achieves an annual turnover of 1 billion Dirhams (US $ 100 million). In October 2005, International Paper had acquired approximately 65% ​​of the shares of CMCP in order to expand its corrugated cardboard business and strengthen its position in the ‘fruits and vegetables‘ segment in the Mediterranean basin.

In July 2007, International Paper signed an agreement with Cofipac for the acquisition of all the shares held by the latter in their joint venture, Compagnie Marocaine des Cartons et Papiers (CMCP) in Morocco. CMCP is now a wholly-owned subsidiary of International Paper. The CMCP International Paper plant in Kenitra is recruiting 5 positions:

-Technicien en Génie Electrique / Instrumentation / Automation (BTS/DUT) avec minimum 1 an d’expérience en industrie lourde.

-Contremaître Energie (Bac+3/4 en énergie/Thermique ) avec minimum 3 ans en Gestion des équipements énergétiques comme les chaudières, les groupes électrogènes, les turbines et traitement d’eau en industrie lourde.

-Opérateur Production (Diplôme ISTA en maintenance) avec minimum 1 an en industrie lourde.

-Coordinateur en Préparation Mécanique (Bac+3/4 en Maintenance de précision) avec minimum 3 ans d’expérience en industrie lourde

-Conducteur Equipements Energie (Bac+2 en thermique) avec minimum 2 ans d’expérience en industrie lourde.
